Seybold - Mary Allen

Mrs. Mary Seybold, 92, 411 W. Pike, died Monday night in Culver Hospital. She had been a resident of Crawfordsville 50 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church and Union Chapel Extension Homemakers. Born Jan 1, 1890 in Montgomery County near Browns Valley, she was the daughte rof James Henry and Mary Alice Gailey Allen. She was married to Maurice Seybold April 5, 1905. He died in February 1960. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Olive Riddell of Alamo, three sons, Kenneth, Harold and Lyle, all of Crawfordsville; 10 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Warren in 1969. Services will be conducted at 1 a.m. Thursday at Bright & Burkhart Funeral Home with Rev. John Carter officiating. Burial will be in Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. -- kbz
